St. John’s Home for Children is a 501c(3) non-profit registered with the state of West Virginia. Your donations to St. John’s Home for Children are tax deductible to the extent provided by law. The following are ways you can help us grow our ministry today and into the future.
Every November, St. John’s Home for Children makes our Annual Appeal to our donors. All donations to the Annual Appeal go directly to the boys in our care. Annual Appeal donations are used to feed, clothe, shelter, educate, and provide recreational services to the boys. Gifts-in-Kind cab be dropped off to St. John’s Home for Children, Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at 141 Key Avenue in the Elm Grove section of Wheeling. Most of our boys come to us with only the clothes they are wearing. We can always use donations of new or gently used clothing, coats, shoes, athletic gear, school supplies, toiletries, linens, towels, recreational supplies, toys, games, etc. Thank you.
Credit card donations can be made immediately by clicking on the PayPal link below. PayPal is a secure way to make online donations to St. John’s Home for Children. You do not need a PayPal account to make your online donation. Thank you.
Cash donations can be accepted at any time. Donations can be made in the form of cash, check, or gift cards. Your donation will be considered part of our Annual Appeal unless earmarked for a specific program, event, item, or field trip. Please make checks payable to St. John’s Home for Children.
